Overconsumption of photography is a problem we all face and seeing the same style of imagery again and again makes us question authenticity. I found a 35mm slide from my grandparents of The North Peak in the Grand Canyons from 1978 and I was fascinated. I uploaded the image to Google Lens and found plenty more that appeared almost identical. I displayed the digital versions as ‘duplicate’ slides of the original image from my grandparents.
